Badges
Budgeting can feel like a grind, so Beyond Budget rewards your progress with Badges. You earn them for key milestones and good habits: your first allocation, a budgeting streak, paying off a loan, finishing a no spending challenge and many more.
Where to find your badges
Go to More › Badges. The row shows how many badges you have out of the total, and a dot appears when you have a new badge you haven't looked at yet.
The Badges screen groups every badge by rarity, from easy to rare:
- Common Achievements
- Uncommon Achievements
- Notable Achievements
- Epic Achievements
- Legendary Achievements
Each group shows how many of its badges you've earned. Tap a badge to see what it's for and, once you've earned it, the date you earned it (Earned on …). From an earned badge you can Share it.
A few examples:

| Mindful Spender | Review 20 transactions using the sentiment tool. |
| Triple Ten Triumph | Complete 30 Targets. |
| Debt Buster | Pay off a loan and crush your debt. |
| 28-Day Treasure Hunter | Complete the 28-day no spending challenge. |
Reaching a new level also earns you that level's badge.
Badge timeline
On the Badges screen, tap the timeline icon at the top to open the Badge timeline: every badge you've earned, in the order you earned it, with milestones along the way.
No badges yet? The timeline invites you to start: tap Start Collecting! and you earn your first badge straight away.
Badge journey
The Badge journey shows your progress towards collecting every badge, with a message that changes as you go (from "Your badge journey begins!" all the way to "Badge Master – 100% Unlocked!"). Open it from the journey icon at the top of the Badges screen.
To keep it in view, tap the pin icon on the Badge journey screen. A Badge journey card then appears on your Budget screen. Tap the pin again to remove it.
New badges on the Budget screen
When you earn a badge, a card for it can appear on the Budget screen until you acknowledge it. Tap the card to see the badge, or swipe it to the left (Dismiss) to put it away without opening it. To turn these cards off, open the ⋮ menu on the Budget screen, choose Customize interface and switch off Show unacknowledged badges. See Home customization.
Not into games? Switch off Gamification features in More › Settings › Appearance. This hides the streak button, the leaderboard shortcut, the badge journey card and the new-badge cards. Your badges stay in More › Badges.
