The app allows you to adjust the appearance of categories to match your preferences and make your budgeting interface more visually informative and user-friendly.
Available Funds Progress Bar
Function: Displays a progress bar that shows how much of your allocated funds have been used in each category. You can choose where to display this bar:
Embedded: Within the available funds field.
Below Category: Under the category name.
Recommended for: Users who want a visual indicator to easily track spending within each category.
Progress Bar Color Scheme
Function: Adjusts the colors of the progress bar to visually represent the status of your funds:
Use Category Color: Matches the progress bar with the category's assigned color for consistent visual cues.
Adaptive: Adapts bar colors to reflect the level of funds, based on your selected color scheme.
Funded vs Underfunded: Changes the color of the progress bar to indicate categories that are fully funded vs. those that are underfunded, allowing for easy tracking at a glance.
Recommended for: Users who want a quick visual representation of their funding status based on different criteria.
Row Density
Function: Changes the density of the rows in the budget layout:
Default: Standard row spacing.
Compact: Reduces the space between rows, allowing more categories to be displayed on the screen at once.
Recommended for: Users who prefer a more compact layout for a clearer overview or have many categories and want to minimize scrolling.
Enhance Balance Visibility
Function: Widens the display of available balances, making the amounts more prominent and easier to read.
Recommended for: Users who want improved visibility of their remaining balances in each category for better clarity.
By adjusting these settings, you can personalize the visual appearance of your categories to improve your budgeting experience, ensuring that the app reflects your preferences and makes it easier for you to manage your finances at a glance.
