Home customization

Make the Budget screen yours: choose which cards it shows, and (with Pro) the order they appear in.

Open Customize interface​

  1. On the Budget tab, tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.

  2. Choose Customize interface.

Customize interface brings together the Settings sections that affect what you see (Appearance, Language & Region, Input & Interaction, Navigation & Layout, Budget Display and Notifications & Alerts), plus a few options that only live here.

Choose what appears on the Budget screen​

Under Navigation & Layout:

Pin financial health scoreShows your financial health score on the home screen, so you can track it at a glance.
Pin surplus money summaryDisplays a summary of surplus funds on the home screen, to track how long they'll last.
Show unacknowledged badgesDisplays a section on the home screen for badges you haven't acknowledged yet.
Show helpful tipsShows tips across the app that highlight new features and smart budgeting insights.

Under Budget Display, Show budget summary and Budget health check control those two cards (see Budget preferences).

Some cards appear on their own when they're relevant: Shortcuts when you have bookmarks, the No spending challenge card while a challenge is running, and the Badge journey card when you pin it from the Badge journey screen.

Reorder the Budget screen​

Pro

Reordering is a Pro feature. On the Free plan, the reorder options show a lock and tapping them shows what Pro offers.

Under Budget Display:

  • Reorder home screen opens Reorder items, a list of the cards currently visible on the Budget screen (for example Budget health check, Budget summary, Tips, Financial health score and Groups and categories). Drag an item by its handle up or down to change its position.

  • Reorder budget summary items changes the order of the items inside the budget summary card.

Budget Display also has a Groups and categories row (on every plan), which opens the groups and categories editor.

Reset​

  • Tap the reset icon at the top of Customize interface to put every customization back to the default.

  • Open the ⋮ menu on the same screen and choose Reset tips to see all the tips again. You might uncover a hidden egg (or two) you missed!
