Shortcuts
Shortcuts put the parts of the app you use most one tap away, in a Shortcuts card on Home. Add a shortcut to a report you check every week, your shopping list, an account, or a button that starts a new expense.
Choose your shortcuts
- Open the side menu and tap Shortcuts (under Budget settings).
- Under Available shortcuts or Accounts available, tap what you want to add. It moves to Selected shortcuts and appears on Home.
You can add shortcuts for:
- Actions: New expense, New income, New transfer, New transaction.
- Lists and tools: Shopping list, Warranties, Reminders, Debts, Payees, Targets, Tags, Projections, Transactions calendar, Credit card calculator, Loan calculator, Net worth, Level.
- Insights: Insights, Where is my money allocated?, Where does my money go?, Income vs expenses, Where have I spent the most over time?, What's the big picture of my budget?, Spending comparison.
- Accounts: any of your accounts, under Accounts available.
Manage them
In Selected shortcuts:
- Drag the handle next to a shortcut to change its order on Home.
- Tap a shortcut to Update shortcut: give it a different name or colour.
- Use the ⋮ menu next to a shortcut to Delete it.
Add a shortcut from a screen
Many screens have a shortcut (bookmark) button in their top bar, for example Shopping list, Warranties, Debts, Projections, Net worth, the transactions calendar and several insights. Tap it to add or remove that screen's shortcut without leaving it.
On Home
The Shortcuts card shows on Home as soon as you have at least one shortcut. To move it or hide it, see Home customization.
These shortcuts live inside the app and work on every platform. On Android you can also long-press the app icon for quick actions: see Widgets and shortcuts.
