Spending Heatmap
The Spending Heatmap shows your daily spending as a colour-coded calendar for the current month and the two before it. The stronger a day's colour, the more you spent, so busy days, quiet weeks and habits like weekend splurges stand out without reading a single number.
Open the Spending Heatmap
- Open Insights.
- Under Financial performance, tap Spending Heatmap.
Reading the heatmap
- Each month is a calendar grid, oldest at the top, with the days of the week across the top. The week starts on the day set in First day of week (More › Settings, under Language & Region).
- Each day's colour shows how much you spent that day compared with your highest-spending day in the three months. The Low spending to High spending bar at the bottom is the scale.
- Days with no spending stay plain.
- Today is marked with a small star.
Only expenses count: income and transfers don't colour the calendar.

Spot a pattern? Compare it with your Transactions calendar, which shows each day's transactions and totals, or with the Spending comparison by category.
Free and Pro
The Spending Heatmap is a Pro feature. On the Free plan the calendar is greyed out behind a lock; tap it to see what Pro includes.
