Beyond Focus is a macOS menu bar app designed to help you focus on today’s tasks.
We value simplicity, clarity, and your privacy.

Privacy Policy​

Overview​

Beyond Focus does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal data.

There are:

  • No user accounts
  • No analytics
  • No tracking
  • No ads
  • No third-party SDKs

All data stays locally on your Mac.

Data We Collect​

None.

Beyond Focus does not collect:

  • Personal information
  • Usage data
  • Device identifiers
  • Location data
  • Crash or analytics data

Local Storage​

All tasks, preferences, and focus session state are stored locally on your device using macOS system storage and optionally saved on iCloud.

Permissions​

Beyond Focus may request limited macOS permissions only to support core functionality:

  • Keep Screen Awake
    Used to prevent your display from sleeping during an active focus session when enabled.
  • Notifications
    To indicate the end of a focused session.

Permissions are optional and can be changed anytime in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Data Sharing​

We do not share data with third parties because no data is collected or transmitted.

Children’s Privacy​

Beyond Focus does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
