Daily AI insights
Daily AI insights are short observations about your recent spending, written by AI and refreshed every day. They appear at the top of the Insights screen, so you see what changed in your spending each time you check your reports.
Turn them on
The first time you open Insights, a card asks "Want AI to Spot Your Spending Trends?".
- Tap Enable AI insights to turn them on.
- Tap Not now to keep them off.
You can change your mind at any time: on the Insights screen, tap the ⋮ menu and tick or untick Daily AI insights.
What you'll see
Once they're on, the top of Insights shows a few insights about your spending trends, under the note "AI-generated insights — Refreshes daily. Check important info."
Instead of insights you may see:
- AI Needs More to Work Its Magic!: the AI needs at least 10 transactions from the last 30 days. Keep logging and check back.
- Something Went Wrong!: the insights couldn't load. Try again later.
- Out of Free AI Insights!: you've used your free insights (see below).
Like any AI, daily insights can be wrong or incomplete. Check important details in your reports before acting on them.
Free and Pro
Daily AI insights are a Pro feature with a free allowance: on the Free plan each budget gets 10 free daily insights. When they're used up, the card shows Out of Free AI Insights! with Go pro and View benefits. Pro has unlimited daily insights.
Privacy and your data
Daily insights are generated from your budget's recent transactions on Beyond Budget's servers, and your data is processed by a third-party AI provider in line with the privacy policy. If you'd rather not use AI on your data, leave Daily AI insights turned off.
